About Queens Game
A puzzle project by JuYi Bai, built around Queens Game and new ways to play it
Our Story
From a classic puzzle idea to a hands-on web game
The N-Queens puzzle is a classic problem that has fascinated mathematicians and puzzle enthusiasts since the 19th century. Originally proposed as a chess puzzle, it asks: how can you place N queens on an N×N chessboard so that no two queens threaten each other?
Queens Game is built and maintained by JuYi Bai, a senior gamer and web developer. The goal is to make this timeless puzzle easier to play in a browser, while also exploring new modes such as Power-Up Mode and Bingo Mode.
The mission is simple: make puzzle-solving accessible, readable, and rewarding. Daily challenges, multiple board sizes, accessibility options, and product notes are all based on hands-on work with the game rather than generic puzzle commentary.
